Collaborative and Integrated Supply Chain management has become such a cliché in modern day business that logistics managers are no more psyched by the mere literary meaning of these words. But integrating the internal business departments with the external world, linking the business partners, shippers, vendors, sub contractors, agents, consignees and end customers, in a multi continent, multi cultural environment still is and will remain the biggest of challenges to any product or services organisation in modern day world. Add to this, the management of multitude time bound events and plethora of mission critical information and we have a near impossible situation.
